
Data from Interior Ministry's nationwide vehicle registration system (CEP) provided by the
IBRM Samar shows, that only 19 units of Chinese cars were registered in Poland in 2010, 6 units more than a year earlier. These data refers to passenger cars, commercial vehicles and heavy trucks but not include special vehicles like truck crane.
1. Gonow - 6 units
The leader of rank became Gonow, which has official importer in Poland - SUV Polska. Its offer included two models - GA200 pickup and GX6 SUV. Unfortunately, media’s interest didn’t translate into interest of potential customers. The latest information is that SUV Polska has finished its operations, however the official website www.suvpolska.pl is still working.
2. DFM – 3 units
Warsaw’s Auro-Porada company, one of the Tata’s dealers, announced that has become the official importer of Chinese brand Dongfeng Motor in Poland from 2 November - according to Magazyn Dealer. An exclusivity was guaranteed through the Yuan Group company, which has excusive rights to represent of Dongfeng brand in the whole Europe. Under the new agreement, Auto-Porada will create new sales network numbering at least 10 dealers by the end of the September 2011.
3. Shuanghuan - 3 units
This brand does’t have an official importer in our country at now. China Automobile Polska had intension to start import of Shuanghuan CEO in 2008, but nothing came for it and company was bankrupted. Several units of CEO were up for sale in Polish Internet, mainly imported from Germany by private by importers.
4. Chery - 2 units
Two Chery models were registered last year - Chery A3 and DR1, small city car restyled in Italy to meet requirements of the local market. A3 model could be produced by the Warsaw’s FSO, but the strict EURO 5 standard probably was the main reason of finish this project. The company still talks with others investors from Asia.

For comparison, 13 models "Made in China" were registered in Poland in 2009, including 4 units of Roewe.
