Automotive Europe Corporation Sp. z o.o. - it is the full name of the new company responsible for distribute of BYD Auto in Poland. The company preparing for a pilot program involving delivery of first batch of cars before EURO 2012. According to received information, the long-term contract between AEC and BYD Auto includes full range of vehicles distribution not only in Poland, but also in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

The first recipients of electric cars will be companies buying small fleet and the adequate infrastructure will be preparing special for them. Subsequently, the importer will create a sales network and service network for individual customers. What important, the new network should cover the whole territory of Poland and will be contain both AES retail points as well as contracted partners.

BYD Auto has big ambitions. The company has signed several agreements for sale its cars in Europe so far, exactly in nine countries: Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Slovenia, Hungary and Slovakia. At the Geneva Motor Show representatives of brand confirmed that sales of green cars will begin in Europe by the end of next year. At first, we will see two models - electric van E6 with 300 kilometers range and a hybrid SUV S6DM, which can run 60 kilometers using only EV mode.
