Fiat 600 would be produced in China?

Fiat Auto Poland started production of Seicento/600 model by the end 1997 and during last 13 years more than 1,3 mln cars rolled off Tychy’s assembly line. Last year, Italian producer has completed production of urban model, providing the latest unit to the Museum of Technology in Warsaw. It seemed that it was the end of his story of Fiat 600, but maybe not yet?

Zotye Holding Group, an auto manufacturer in southeastern China's Zhejiang province, is set to launch a sedan below 20,000 yuan ($2,900) to the domestic market, Media reported Monday. The sedan based on the Jiangnan Alto that Zotyoe acquired in 2007, which will be put on sale for merely 18,880 yuan, is the first car in China to be priced under 20,000 yuan.

Zotye Auto, a Chinese maker of sport utility vehicles (SUV), is raising about 720 million yuan ($105 million) by selling a unspecified percent of stakes to a group of private Chinese companies, aiming for supporting development of its own brand new energy vehicles. Zotye signed strategic cooperation contracts on Tuesday with a group of 11 privated investors, led by Shenzhen-based JF Asset Management Company, Zhejiang Haiyue Co and Xinghe (Group) Corp at Hangzhou, the capital city of Zhejiang province.

11 Fiat-based models with Chinese logo?

Zotye Holding Group is steaming ahead with plans to launch a new brand using platforms from discontinued Fiat S.p.A. cars. Wu Motuo, CEO of the Zotye Group, confirmed that the company has plans to build 11 Fiat-based models. He says production of three Fiat-based cars will begin in January 2009 at a new plant in Changsha, Hunan province.

W ofercie pojawił się również zmodernizowany Wuling Sunshine Deluxe. Wszystkie samochody można już oglądać w gdańskiej siedzibie China-Motors. Lokalne biuro rozpoczęło działalność 4 września 2006 roku. Firma wykorzystuje lukę prawną, która zakłada że importerami samochodów mogą być ich nabywcy.

Chiński Zotye kupił linię montażową od Fiata Auto

Zotye Holding Group Co., kupił od koncernu Fiata linię montażową do produkcji modelu Lancia Lybra, której produkcja zakończyła się w lipcu 2005 r. Jednocześnie chiński producent nabył intelektualne prawa do tego modelu oraz do silnika benzynowego o poj. 1.6 litra o mocy 106 KM. W planach firmy jest również kupno linii montażowej Fiata Multipli, co ma nastąpić po zakończeniu jej produkcji w 2009 roku.

On January 16, Beijing Time, 2012 Dakar Rally lasting for two weeks came to an end in Lima, Capital of Peru. In the vehicle group, all Chinese racing teams completed the race; among them, Haval Racing Team for Dakar Rally not only ranked in top ten of the race for the first time together with famous racing teams including BMW and Hummer, but also created the best record of Chinese racing teams participating in the rally.

Recently Great Wall Motors built Voleex C30 and Voleex C20R have been approved by EU with WVTA. Following Florid, Coolbear, Haval, and Wingle, the complete series of Voleex saloon cars of Great Wall Motors have got this certification. This certification lasted for 1 year, and the certification organization of VCA in UK is responsible for the certification process which is considerably complicated and strict. Totally 48 testing items are involved in EU Certification, of which 13 are relating to active safety, 13 for passive safety, 8 for environmental protection. Fairly high standards have been set for the vehicles in regard to emission level, safety performance and environmental protection.

Great Wall Motor Co., China's largest SUV maker, expects its joint venture assembly plant in Bulgaria to start producing vehicles in February - according to autonewschina.com. The factory, in the northern Bulgarian town of Lovech, is a joint venture between Great Wall and Bulgaria's Litex Motors Co. Chinese tycoon plans to set up a technology center in Europe to develop vehicles that comply with the European safety standards - autonewschina.com said.

Volvo Car Corp. styling chief Peter Horbury is moving to the Swedish automaker's sister brand, Geely Group, as senior vice president of design - we can read in service autonewschina.com. He began his career with the Swedish automaker in 1991 as head of design, helping to create new models such as the XC90 crossover before he moved in 2002 to Ford's Premier Automotive Group. There, he oversaw design at Aston Martin, Jaguar, Land Rover and Volvo - autonewschina.com said.
