Landwind prepares to return to the German market and is going to sell a minivan CV9. Last week representatives of Landwind Europe presented the model at the special meeting for 50 people in Stomberg. Has been known for some time that the sales of this car will start in spring 2011. The basic version of minivan will cost 12,995 EUR. Germany become the third European country - after Netherlands and Belgium - where CV9 will be offered.
Landwind is finishing preparing to the investment. According to vice Prime Minister Waldemar Pawlak the factory is to be settled on Opolszczyzna – Rzeczpospolita has announced. Waldemar Pawlak met with representatives of the Chinese carmaker Jiangling Motors Group Company (JMC) during his last visit in China. The company operates as Landwind Motor Corporation outside China.
China News Agency ‘China Knowledge’ has confirmed Rzeczpospolita’s news, that Jiangling Motors Corp (JMC) is planning to build an auto manufacturing plant in Poland. The new plant will cost US$1.2 billion and set to produce 400,000 units of vehicles per year. Representatives of the Chinese auto maker will negotiate with officials from the relevant government bodies in Poland on the cooperation program in mid September.
Cars will not be the most advanced, but instead of them – cheap. Chinese want to enter European market through our country. As Rzeczpospolita has found out, Jiangling Motors Group Company is going to build car factory in Poland. Peter Bijvelds, the representative of Chinese in Europe has affirmed this information. He is the CEO of Landwind Motor Corporation (JMC is operating overseas under such name). If it happens it will be the first Chinese car factory in Europe.
The Chinese brand – Landwind is going to start sale in Great Britain in autumn this year. The off-road X-Pedition will be sold firstly, and just after the seven-placed mini van Fashion is going to appear. Landwind has also announced, that the official dealership network will be known in summer. Both models have the permission to be sold in European countries.
