Brilliance has presented the newest edition of being produced for over five years top sedan BS6 (in China it is known as Grandeur). Refreshed limousine offers the more attractive body design, modern interior and rebuilt list of optional equipment. The producer, sure of the quality of its product, offers warranty for 10 years, limited by 200,000 km.

Having nearly 4,9 m of length sedan, presents much better than its precursor. Rebuilt front line, LED headlights, new type of 17” alloy wheels and chrome details, caused the car looks more prestigious though unchanged car body. For the first time, BS6 has got side mirrors with turn signals. From technical point of view, nothing has changed. There are two petrol engines - 1.8T with 170 hp and 2.0 with 130 hp. Except of 6-manual gearbox, customers might choose also automatic 4-gearbox with manual function of changing gears, produced by ZF company.

Passengers could use wide cab and luggage compartment, having the capacity of 550 l. Chrome console with LCD display dominates on the control panel. In top version, automatic air conditioning and additional display connected with DVD and colorful satellite navigation are assembled. The new thing is multifunctional onboard computer, placed between clocks, and key-less system. List of equipment includes, i.a. 4 heated seats – front electrically regulated, steering wheel controlled Bluetooth, sunroof, leather trim, rear windows’ panels, or 8-speakers audio system. Passengers from rear seats have the possibility to use 230V plug.

Safety equippement is much poorer and includes only ABS with EBD and four airbags. Though five headrests, on the middle rear seat, huckle-belt is mounted. Suspension and Michelin tyres are responsible for better driving conditions. The producer guarantees, that body structure is similar to this in BS4, so in connection with old EuroNCAP parameters should ensure three stars.

On the local market BS6 is offered in 8 configurations. The cheapest one costs in China 127,800 yuan (around 53,700 PLN), and the most expensive one – 249,800 yuan (around 105,00 PLN). The most important competitor of the model being advertised as vehicle for business is Roewe 750.
