The GW booth is the largest amongst of its aboard motor shows, covering an area of nearly 800m2. The models showed at this show is also the richest, including passenger cars, MPV, SUV, pickup, 4 categories, 9 models - Coolbear, Florid, Phenom, Mini SUV, Cowry, Peri, Hover, Wingle and Hover Pi. Russia is the biggest foreign market for GWM. In this year predicted export to Russia amount to 80,000 units.

More than 13,000 units GW vehicles were exported to Russia from January to July 2008, representing an increase of approximate 71% comparing to the same period of last year. Chinese carmaker plans to launch Florid, Coolbear and some other sedans to the Russian market in the coming two years. In the beginning of May, Great Wall Motor sent to Russia 286 units of Peri, (a carbon copy of Fiat Panda). Our neighbor is a crucial overseas market, to where Chinese cars are exported. The basic prize of Peri with 1.3L engine was set as 12,600 USD. The company expects to export another 300 GWPeri minicars to Russia by the end of this year as local dealers in Russia demand for more.
