Changan is going to present first Chinese hydrogen car at the Pekin auto show. Prototype coupe – Liang Jian weighs 750 kg and has really low air resistance. According to company’s representatives, high effective and economic hydrogen engine is a breakthrough in Chinese technology development, aiming to protect environment and keep natural energy sources. The first prototype engine’s official presentation took place in June last year.

The Chinese concern started development’s works over his engine already in 2005, as a part of national economy’s plan, marked as “863”. Succeed after two year of intensive work, got the national hydrogen technology’s foundation to be created.
