Hafei Automobile is the next Chinese brand, models of which fulfil the national cleanliness’ standard, responding to Euro 4. There is a precondition to register a new car in Pekin, since March the 1st. Before, only two local concerns - Brilliance and Chery got the permission for selling these cars in the city. The most popular ecological Hafei’s models are: Lobo, Saibao III, Saibao V and Zhongyi.

The car maker announced, that at the Pekin auto show it will present seven models, of which three will be shown for the first time – Lobo AMT, Small Conqueror and Saima. It is worth to remind, that French concern PSA has signed a draft agreement to create new joint-venture with Hafei Motors. It is going to help to compete on the fastest world market. A new joint-venture with fair share is going to produce and sell vans and minibuses on the local market.

Brilliance Auto has as many as 9 „clean” versions of Jingbei’s models (commercial vehicles) and 5 Zhonghuan’s models (passenger cars). Among Chery’s models the most popular QQ was favored, as well as minivan V2 and compact A1, all with 1.3L engines. Chery’s representatives accent, that till the end of 2008, only one or two models will not fulfil this standard.
